more than portraits.

Wedding photography coverage that’s about who you are, not just what you look like.

For those that want their day to scream them and want to look back years later and feel all the feels all over again.
When you think about your wedding day, what are you the most excited about?

  • Spending the rest of your life with your best friend
  • Your grandmothers meeting for the first time
  • Catching your dad getting just a little bit teary-eyed
  • The moment your person sees you turn to make your way down the aisle
  • Letting loose surrounded by your oldest friends

If it isn’t ‘running around town for hours to pose portraits while you miss out on time with the family and friends that have come in to celebrate with you’ then you’re in the right place.

Photographs give us something to hold onto long after the moment passes, but I don’t believe they need to be stiff and formal. In fact, my favorite images are the ones where people forget I was there at all. Those moments when you get to relax and support one another in a way that’s true to your relationship are the ones that get me all teary-eyed editing.

At the end of the day, your wedding is a celebration of your love. Of every moment, story, and person that’s brought you together. Your wedding photos should show that.

If you want all the ooey-gooey, quiet, joyful, dancey, tearful moments that make up your day captured and a photographer that has the experience to help things move smoothly; I’m your girl.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you define your style?
My style is film-inspired and I aim to keep colors pretty true to life with just a tiny extra pop of vibrance. I’m not trendy, and I like to keep edits pretty classic so that you can look back on them 40 years from now and still feel the vibe of that moment.

Where are you based? Are you willing to travel?
I’m located in Cleveland, Ohio but I shoot weddings all over! Anything within a 1-hour drive doesn’t incur a travel fee. For weddings and sessions outside of that radius, travel fees can range from gats to airfare and lodging expenses.

How long have you been doing this?
I got into photography with a high school darkroom course before I went to OU for visual communication. I worked as a photojournalist for a couple of newspapers before officially starting by business in the summer of 2016.

How many images can we expect?
Weddings vary greatly depending on your coverage and a number of other variables. On average, you can expect 500-700 images delivered.

Do we need a second photographer?
Second shooters are super useful in a few scenarios. If you’re getting ready at different locations, doing a first look, or want a lot of ceremony photos, then they can be fantastic to include! That said, it comes down to personal preference and I’m perfectly comfortable being a one woman show.

Are you insured?
I hold general liability insurance for my business as well as insurance for all of my gear.

What are your rates?
Weddings range depending on your needs for the day. Oftentimes when I chat with a couple we will come up with a custom plan, but you can get an overview of how I structure coverage in my Collections Guide.

How do you accept payment?
Almost anything goes. Most couples opt to pay via bank account or credit card through the platform I use for contracts, etc. Checks and cash are totally fine, too!

Who is your ideal client?
I love clients that value photography, but also want to really enjoy their day and make sure it’s true to them. Many of my clients break some traditions to create their own celebration, and aren’t afraid to try something different. I find that communication between myself and my clients makes a huge difference, and I adore clients that want to bounce around ideas and plans so that we can make sure we capture all of the important details.

Do you have backups?
Short answer – yes. Long answer – I shoot on two cameras, both of which write data to two separate cards simultaneously. Once I get home, I back images up onto my personal hard drive, an NAS server, and through a cloud service. Photos are archived and guaranteed for two years.

What kind of equipment do you use?
I have two camera bodies (A Canon Mark IV and Mark III), a bunch of lenses, four strobes, and various lighting modifiers. If you’re a fellow camera nerd, I’m happy to chat more in detail about it =)

How soon will we receive our images?
Sneak peek images are delivered within one week of the wedding, and the full gallery of images are available within eight weeks.

How our images delivered?
Once your photos are ready, you’ll be emailed a link to your digital gallery as well as a personal PIN code to download your images. The photos will remain live on the site for at least 60 days.

Do you post everything online?
I typically post a few sneak peeks, but the short answer is no. I do try to trickle out a few photos on my Instagram throughout the editing process!

What do I need to book? Is the retainer refundable?
To reserve your date, a signed contract and $500 retainer fee is required. Since I don’t double book myself and limit the number of weddings I take each year, I do not refund retainer fees. If you’re in a situation where your date may change, I’m happy to discuss options!
