more than portraits.

Wedding photography coverage that’s about who you are.

When you think about your wedding day, what are you the most excited about?

  • Spending the rest of your life with your best friend
  • Your grandmothers meeting for the first time
  • Catching your dad getting just a little bit teary-eyed
  • The moment your person sees you turn to make your way down the aisle
  • Letting loose surrounded by your oldest friends

If it isn’t, ‘running around town for four hours and posing for portraits while you miss out on spending time with the family and friends that are here to celebrate you’, then you’re in the right place.

Photographs give us something to hold onto long after the moment passes, but I don’t believe that they need to be stiff or boring. In fact, my favorite images are the ones where people forget I was documenting; when you get to relax and support one another in a way that’s true to your relationship.

Your wedding day is a celebration of your love. Of every moment, story, and person that’s brought you together.

You want all the ooey-gooey, quiet, joyful, dancey, tearful moments that make up your day captured, and a photographer that has the experience to help things move smoothly. I’m your girl.

My favorite things about weddings are:

  • The sister that’s not a hugger giving you an extra tight squeeze
  • In-jokes your bestie cracks during their speech
  • The little smirk your partner gives you in the middle of the ceremony
  • Thoughtful details in your decorations
  • The few deep breaths you take while you’re soaking it all in
  • How you look at each other between moments
  • That ‘We did the dang thing’ smile after your first kiss
  • Seeing your oldest friends break it down on the dance floor
  • Your mom tearing up every time she looks at you

You’re unique, and your wedding photography should showcase all of that.

In the decade that I’ve been working as a photographer, I’ve found that the real moments are always the most beautiful. Not because it’s Pinterest-perfect, but because of how much more those captured images mean to the people in them.

To do that, I have to actually get to know who you are as a human being, which is why I offer the following with every wedding photography package:

A Guarantee It’s Me

I’m not a big company with your name in a file. It’s just little ole me over here, and I figure that if you’re booking me, I’m the person you’re expecting to show up on your wedding day. Yeah, I have backups in case I break both of my legs or something but (knock on all the wood) I have never missed a wedding.

All the Best Photos

There are no limits on how many pictures are taken or delivered, cause it really comes down to what happens on your day. Depending on how long your coverage is and whether or not we add-on a second photographer, most couples receive 500-900 images. No watermarks, no tiny files that you can barely share on social media. They’re yours.

On that note, Sharing & Print Releases

Please share your photos! Scream that you love them from the rooftops and plaster them all over your walls. Your gallery comes in a digital album that you can share with whomever you’d like so that anyone you want can favorite, download, print, whatever.

I limit the number of weddings that I take each year so that I can also offer the following:

Quick Turnaround Times

You get sneak peeks within one week of your wedding day so that you can share them right away. Full galleries are delivered within 6-8 weeks of the big day.

Text & Email Access

Can’t figure out how to organize your day-of timeline? Not sure if your bridesmaid dresses clash with the red brick wall at the venue? Can’t find a florist you love? Email me whenever, and expect a response within 24 hours. If you need a quick answer, you have my personal cell and are welcome to shoot me a text. I’ve been to a whole boatload of weddings, and I’m happy to offer up advice and recommendations.

Which is why it makes my whole week when I get sweet reviews from couples like this one.

I truly believe I found one of the best photographers in Cleveland; Kaitlyn’s talents have been such a blessing to my husband and I. To be blunt, my now-husband and I aren’t photogenic; for the life of us we cannot to take a good photograph on our own, but now thanks to Kaitlyn’s talent we have an entire albums of amazing engagement and wedding photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

During photo sessions, instead of making us pose for photos (yuck) she worked with movement and good lighting, which helped everything look and feel more natural. We keep getting compliments on our photos, and even people telling us that we look like models (HA); all of this is 100% thanks to Kaitlyn!

Also important, Kaitlyn is organized, an excellent communicator, and so on top of everything. She met with Dan and I in person before we booked with her, and then was in constant communication with us leading up to our day. My fiancé (now-husband) and I were pretty clueless about what we wanted, but Kaitlyn helped us pick photo locations, helped with props, helped us make tough choices about how to deal with bad weather, and was friendly and fun to work with through the entire process. She is that type-A personality type who you can trust to make sure every detail is taken care of, and in all my wedding-planning stress, I never once stressed about our photos.

If this sounds like your jam, then I’d love to hear what you have planned and see if we’re a good fit!

Weddings are so unique, so I always find meeting up over coffee (or hopping on the phone if that’s more your style) is the best first step. If you like what you see, schedule a time to chat. I’d love to hear more about what you have planned!
