Engagement sessions are always a blast, but there are a few reasons that I recommend them for just about everyone.

Reason One: You get professional photos for Save the Dates, Invitations, your Wedding Website, etc.

Reason Two: You get a chance to adjust to being in front of my (admittedly large and slightly intimidating if you aren’t used to that-kind-of-thing) cameras, and I get a chance to see how the two of you interact. Basically, it’s an extra chance to get to know the two of you so that I’m giving you prompts on your wedding day that make sense for who you are as a couple. This means less time making it work, and more time rocking it on the big day.

Reason Three: Your wedding day is about you, obviously, but there are so many external variables that go into planning. From budgets, to family opinions, to logistics, and everything in between, there can be some compromises along the way. Your engagement session is 100% a n y t h i n g goes. Want to take a hike with your fur babies? Search for beach glass in your favorite park? Giggle over pizza and beers? Walk the streets of the campus where you met? Whatever feels right for you, I’m down.

I think they’re so important, that I offer a complimentary mini session (or a discounted full session) with every single wedding package.
